Cotton Wool Capers
I was on a building site last week where milk crates have become a sackable offence. If someone is found bringing a crate on to site or using a milk crate as a device, it’s the sack, zero harm. On the same day I had a coffee at a local shop where milk crates are used for play, stacking castles, adventure and fun. You can see young children in the photos irresponsibly stacking crates and then with their Dad stacking crates and then adults sitting on crates in the sun to enjoy a coffee. How absurdly dangerous, how risky and how unsafe! You can see more irresponsible crate stacking and unsafety here http://thespoke.earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au/are-our-school-playgrounds-being-wrapped-in-cotton-wool/
No wonder the tradespeople on site believe safety is a joke.
